Lee Min Ho


Best known as Gu Jun-Pyo, the character he portrayed in a popular 2009 television series Boys Over Flowers, Lee Min Ho is currently one of South Korea’s top actors.

This hallyu (Korean wave) star has starred in four Korean films including Bounty Hunters in 2016 and over ten television series including the most recent, The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016) in which he played the role of a con-man who falls in love with a mermaid. Lee Min Ho is also a model and a singer. He has released two music albums, My Everything in May 2013 and Song For You in October 2014.

Despite possessing such good looks, he claims he has never undergone plastic surgery.

However, Lee Min Ho is not just another handsome face. His great talent and strong dedication towards acting has helped him receive many accolades, including over 45 nominations for various movie awards in both South Korea and China. To date, this talented star has won 40 movie awards throughout his career, including the most recent “1st Weibo Movie Award 2016 for Most Anticipated Action Comedy Actor”.

He is also currently one of the top-10 highest paid actors in the South Korean movie industry, commanding around 70 million Won (USD 58,700.00) per episode. His net worth is currently valued at USD 10 million!

Born in 1987 in Heukseok-dong, Seoul, Min Ho faced several challenges in his early life and career before he shot to stardom. As a teenager, he had dreams of becoming a professional football player and was selected to participate in the youth football class. The class was run by former South Korean professional football player, Cha Bum- Kun. Nevertheless, after sustaining a bad leg injury, he had to give up his football dream and decided to turn to acting during his second year of high school.
